Yes! Share your must-plays (and your do-not-plays) before the wedding, and we'll happily take live requests from guests too, as long as they fit the vibe you've set. Your list always wins: if a request doesn't match what you and your guests want, we filter it out, not force it in.
Both! We're not just up there hitting play. We're your MC for the night too: announcements, hyping your entrance and wedding party, and keeping first dance, cake cutting, and speeches on cue. One less thing on your plate.
Always. We show up with modern, professional-grade sound and dance floor lighting, sized to fit your venue's layout and guest count. No sketchy gear, no surprises. Everything's tested and set up well before your guests arrive, so the room's already got that "wow" feeling the moment they walk in.
Longer than you'd think. The 4–6 hours you see us "live" is just the visible part. Behind that, we're loading gear around noon and arriving on-site 2–3 hours before your guests to get everything dialed in. Once the last dance ends, we're breaking it all down, and usually we're not out the door until after midnight. Long day for us, so everything looks effortless.
Absolutely! We've got you covered from "here comes the bride" to “last call”. Ceremony music and mics, background tunes for cocktail hour & dinner service, and a full DJ set for your dance floor. One company handling the whole day means no gaps, no handoffs, and no guessing who's supposed to be doing what when.
A playlist can play songs. It can't read the room. We're adjusting in real time, making announcements, keeping your timeline on track, coordinating with vendors, and catching hiccups before they're your problem. Your job on your wedding day is to relax and enjoy it; ours is to make sure everything else runs on time.
Sooner than you'd think! We recommend 12–18 months out, especially during peak season, since popular dates go fast. That said, wedding planning doesn't always follow a perfect timeline. Already close to your date? Ask anyway, we may still have it open.
Definitely. Our planning tools make it easy to share your must-plays and your absolute nos. One tip from experience: we recommend keeping your must-play list to around 20–30 songs. That's plenty for us to get a real feel for your taste and it leaves room for us to do what we do best, filling out the night with mixes that keep the floor packed and the occasional curveball that turns into everyone's favorite moment. Great taste and a great dance floor aren't always the same thing, and that's where experience comes in.
We will connect in person, over the phone, or on a video call to go over the basics of your event, including essential event logistics.
We will discuss your budget and logistics to ensure we are providing everything you need, including our popular photo booth rentals and top-notch wedding DJ services.
If we decide we are a good match for your event, we will move forward and sign a contract that locks in your services for your date.
A retainer of 50% of the total budget will hold the date, with the balance due on the day of the event.
You will have access to our online planning portal, which will allow you to choose music, share timelines, and coordinate any other event logistics. The portal is updated in real time, and you can even use it to collect your guests' music requests. 2-4 weeks before your event, we will schedule another time to discuss the information in the portal and finalize any details regarding your wedding DJ services or photo booth rentals. DMMAS is happy to be a resource for any event-related questions you may have.
We generally arrive two hours before the event (which could be longer with larger setups) to manage the event logistics, including setting up the sound system and lighting. We utilize the information from the planning portal to guide the day. Sometimes plans shift, and any minor timeline issues will be managed inconspicuously, allowing you to relax and enjoy your event. In more significant cases, our event professional, experienced in handling challenges, will step in. Additionally, if you’ve opted for photo booth rentals or our wedding DJ services, we ensure everything runs smoothly together. Load out after events typically takes around 60 minutes but may extend depending on the specifics of the equipment used.
